Teatro del Soho CaixaBank's Spanish-language production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Company, directed by Antonio Banderas, will transfer to Barcelona's Teatre Apolo, with performances running May 2-June 12. The production began performances in M谩laga, the theatre's home base, November 17 and continues its run there through April 3.
Roger Berruezo will star as the perpetually single Bobby for the Barcelona run, taking over the role from Banderas. Berruezo will lead a cast that includes Mar铆a Adamuz, Albert Bolea, Lorena Calero, Lydia Fair茅n, Robert Gonz谩lez, Dulcinea Ju谩rez, Silvia Luchetti, Anna Moliner, Julia M枚ller, Paco Morales, Marta Ribera, Carlos Segu铆, Rub茅n Yuste, Carmen Barrantes, Nando Gonz谩lez, Beatriz Mur, Mariola Pe帽a, and 脕ngel Saavedra.

Arturo D铆ez-Boscovich continues as the production's music director, leading a 15-member orchestra.
Company is Teatro del Soho's second production of a Broadway-originating musical, following their debut production of A Chorus Line in 2019. Banderas, who founded the theatre and serves as its president, starred in that production as well.
Debuting on Broadway in 1970, Company features a score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth. Company was among the first successful musicals built around a concept rather than a story, centering on the single, middle-aged Bobby and his married friends, all of whom want him to get married. The work introduced such Sondheim favorites as "Being Alive," "Another Hundred People," and "The Ladies Who Lunch," and has since been revived on Broadway three times.
Broadway's most recent revival of Company, currently running at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, was reimagined by director Marianne Elliot to center around a female protagonist, played by Katrina Lenk.
