International News Daniel Fish's Oklahoma! Begins Previews for U.K. Premiere on the West End April 26

Broadway's James Davis and Patrick Vaill transfer with the Tony-winning production's transfer to the West End's Young Vic Theatre.

's revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! begins previews April 26 at the West End's Young Vic Theatre. The Tony-winning production, which has transferred across the pond, will officially open its U.K. premiere run May 5 with performances scheduled through June 25.

Transferring with the production are  as Jud Fry and as Will Parker, both of whom originated the roles in the revival. Joining them are as Laurey Williams, as Curly McLain, Olivier nominee as Aunt Eller, as Ado Annie, and Stavros Demetraki as Ali Hakim.

Completing the cast are Raphael Bushay as Mike, Greg Hicks as Andrew Carnes, Rebekah Hinds as Gertie Cummings, Ashley Samuels as Cord Elam, and Marie Mence as the lead dancer.

Written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Oklahoma! is based on ' play Green Grow the Lilacs. Director Daniel Fish's re-imagined and re-orchestrated revival brings the timely story of a tight-knit community banding together against an outsider and the impact of frontier life on shaping the United States into a new vision without altering the original text. 

After a premiere at Bard College in 2007, where Vaill first joined Oklahoma!, the production played Bard SummerScape in 2015 before making its New York City premiere Off-Broadway at St. Ann's Warehouse in 2018. It then opened on Broadway in 2019, won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, and launched a currently-running U.S. tour.

Oklahoma! is co-directed by Daniel Fish and with orchestrations and arrangements by Daniel Kluger. Kluger and Nathan Koci serve as music supervisors. The creative team features choreographer John Heginbotham, set designers Laura Jellinek and Grace Laubacher, costume designer Terese Wadden, lighting designer Scott Zielinski, sound designer Drew Levy, projection designer Joshua Thorson, and musical director Tom Brady. Sam Lilja is dialect coach, and casting is by Jacob Sparrow.
