Massachusetts' Barrington Stage Company announced casting for its productions of Ain鈥檛 Misbehavin鈥� and the world premiere of Andy Warhol in Iran. The two shows will launch the company's 2022 season at the Boyd-Quinson Stage and the St. Germain Stage, respectively.
Directed and choreographed by Jeffrey L. Page, Ain鈥檛 Misbehavin鈥� will star Allison Blackwell (The Gershwins鈥� Porgy & Bess), Jarvis B. Manning Jr. (Ain鈥檛 Too Proud), Anastacia McCleskey (Waitress), Maiesha McQueen (Waitress), and DeMone Seraphin (Ragtime). The show will open the new season at the Boyd-Quinson Stage June 16.
Andy Warhol in Iran is a new play by Brent Askari that fictionalizes the pop artist's 1976 visit to Tehran. It will star Henry Stram (The Crucible) as Warhol and Nima Rakhshanifar as Farhad. The show plays the St. Germain Stage starting June 2.

Additionally, the Boyd-Quinson Stage season includes Anna in the Tropics, Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler鈥檚 A Little Night Music, and the world premiere of All of Me. The St. Germain Stage season will also include ABCD, the world premiere staging of the new musical The Supadupa Kid, and a revival of Waiting for Godot.
