A three-part docuseries about the making of hit television show Glee is underway. Discovery+ and ID are exploring the real story the Fox show in the yet-to-be-named streaming project, according to a report in .

The docuseries will go behind the scenes of the production. Creators will have access to important members of the cast and crew, as well as friends and family members, to explore the controversies surrounding the show and its cast, which featured a host of Broadway favorites, including Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Jenna Ushkowitz, Darren Criss, and more.

Glee followed members of a fictional high school glee club and their adolescent journeys and dramas. Over more than 100 episodes between 2009鈥�2015, the musical series often paid homage to Broadway musicals and showtunes, with performances of Funny Girl's "Don't Rain On My Parade," Promises, Promises' "Turkey Lurkey Time," and Les Mis茅rables' "On My Own," among many others.
